The sports loving governor of Bauchi state, Isa Yuguda has hinted that he is going to watch the Super Eagles playing live on Sunday when they take on Burkina Faso in the final of the 29thedition of the African cup of nations going on in South Africa.
In a press statement made available signed by the state press secretary, Ishola Mike, the governor who watched the Stephen Keshi tutored lads whitewashed the lesser Eagles of Mali 4-1 on Wednesday in the first semi final encounter at Moses Mbhida Stadium in Durban with his state executive at the government house, Bauchi said he was thrilled by the performance of the boys as such he want to be on ground on Sunday to cheer the team to victory.
The statement read, “This Eagles I saw today are the Eagles of hope, therefore I want to be n South Africa to cheer the boys to victory on Sunday. If this is how the boys have been doing previously, why would anybody say he will not support them?”Meanwhile, Gov. Yuguda insisted that his joy was completed when the Eagles successfully spell ‘MALI’ with goals, adding that the boys can do even better against the Burkinabes on Sunday at the climax of the Afcon 2013 even though he opined that Keshi’s led Eagles played the final of the tournament last Sunday against the Elephant of Cote d’Ivoire in the quarter final where they triumphed by 2-1.
